A Special Milestone: Amin Sheikh’s Book in Italian! We are thrilled to announce that Amin Sheikh’s inspiring book, Bombay, Mumbai. Life is Life, I Am Because of You, has been translated into Italian by the wonderful Damiano Bastile. His generosity and dedication to this project, entirely on a volunteer basis, truly make him an angel in our community. This summer, we were overjoyed to welcome Damiano to Mumbai, where he volunteered at St. Paul’s College, teaching Italian to eager students. Grazie mille, Damiano!
Amin Sheikh’s European Tour – Raising Awareness Across Borders From January 8th to February 28th, Amin Sheikh will be traveling across Europe—visiting Spain, Italy, France, and Germany—to give conferences about the realities faced by street children in India. Through these events, he will raise awareness about our mission and share insights into the projects of Bombay to Barcelona Library Café and Street Angels Foundation.
This time, Amin is not traveling alone! Jyoti Yadav is accompanying him, embarking on an incredible journey to achieve her dream of becoming a model. As part of her experience, she will spend a week in Malta with renowned fashion designers Charles & Ron for training. In April, she will step onto the runway in their fashion show—an inspiring step toward her future!
Little Guru’s Nest Celebrates Its 2nd Anniversary! On January 26th, coinciding with India’s Republic Day, Little Guru’s Nest marked two incredible years of providing education and hope to underprivileged children. We extend our deepest gratitude to all the teachers, volunteers, and supporters who have contributed to making this educational haven a reality. We also express our gratitude to the Fundación Maite Iglesias for their continuous support in funding the educational training of our teachers. Your collaboration and efforts continue to shape bright futures!
New Opening: Bombay to Barcelona Library Café in Satara! We are excited to announce the opening of a new Bombay to Barcelona Library Café in Satara, in collaboration with Shailaja Foundation. This new project will support both Street Angels Foundation and Shailaja Foundation, furthering our mission to create opportunities and support underprivileged communities. A big thank you to the Nair family for their incredible support in making this dream a reality!
Exciting Updates: The House Project Nears Completion! We are ecstatic to announce that our house project is almost ready! Very soon, our girls and boys will receive the keys to their new homes—a significant milestone in providing safe and secure living spaces for those in need. Stay tuned for more details on the official handover!
